SunSun

The SunSun HW-704 B external aquarium filter with integrated UVC unit is ideal for aquariums with a water volume of up to 1000 liters. With a pump capacity of up to 2000 liters per hour and quiet operation, the filter delivers optimal performance. The rubber feet provide effective vibration dampening. The filter can be placed space-saving under or next to the aquarium, and the hose connections on the top of the lid are rotatable by 360°. The package includes filter media for 4 filtration stages, which can be individually filled into the filter baskets with practical handles: mechanical filtration (e.g., filter fleece), biological filtration (e.g., bio balls, ceramic rings), chemical filtration (e.g., activated carbon, phosphate remover), and an expandable fourth stage. The integrated UVC unit kills harmful algae, bacteria, and pathogens, allowing their removal from the water cycle through mechanical filtration. The lifespan of the UVC lamp is between 7000 and 10000 operating hours. An annual replacement of the UV lamp and cleaning of the quartz glass is recommended. The setup is simple: after placing the filter media, the filter is filled with water by repeatedly pressing down the pump cylinder on the top. The multifunctional valve on the pump head features a quick coupling to disconnect the hoses without draining the water. It also allows for flow regulation and prevents aquarium water from leaking.
