A lot of space is needed to keep poultry in a species-appropriate way. In addition to daily exercise in a large free-range enclosure, these animals also need a spacious retreat where they are protected from predators and the weather. This chicken coop offers a free-range area as well as a sheltered space for roosting and nesting and can complement a large free-range enclosure and a spacious coop for keeping poultry. The chicken coop has external dimensions of 310 x 150 x 150 cm and has two interconnected areas. As the house is located on a second level, which is accessed via a ramp, the floor space remains completely intact. The house has two large nesting boxes on the sides, each with a hinged lid. Both can be opened if necessary so that the inside is easily accessible. This makes it possible to check on nesting hens or take out a breakfast egg.
