Product details

A smarter, more comfortable heating control for your home.

The radiator thermostat can be used with most water radiators, such as room heaters, towel warmers, or even underfloor heating. It takes measurements from external Aqara sensors and adjusts the heating output accordingly.

Measurements from the external temperature sensor (including HomeKit): Control the temperature of the entire room, not just around the radiator. Compared to other thermostats, the Aqara radiator thermostat can receive temperature readings directly from the connected Aqara temperature and humidity sensor or TVOC air quality monitor, even in HomeKit.

Advanced detection of door and window openings: To avoid wasting energy, the TRV turns off the heating when an open door or window is detected. This can occur through the built-in temperature sensor that detects a sudden drop in temperature, as well as through the connection with an Aqara door and window sensor via automations, which are more reliable.

Weather automation and freeze protection: In the event of a risk of pipes freezing, the heating is automatically turned on. Additionally, thanks to the powerful Aqara Home automation, the room can be preheated when there is a significant drop in outside temperature to compensate for the temperature difference.

Configurable smart schedules: The schedules can be set for desired time periods, such as nighttime, and the transition between them occurs smoothly but as quickly as possible.

Support for device grouping: If multiple radiators are present in a room, they will all be synchronized in the most efficient way based on the actual room temperature.

Color display with backlighting.

Agara has long been more than just a cheap Chinese brand. This test also proves this. The well-made E1 controller scores points with its great colour display, many functions and high measuring accuracy. The accessories are also good: Starting at 30 euros, there is a temperature sensor, room thermostat or a bridge for the socket, which also serves as a night light.
