SAUTEUSE The sauté pan is a pan that combines the advantages of a saucepan with those of a frying pan. Thinly sliced meat or vegetables require less fat during preparation and can be sautéed or steamed by constantly swirling the pan over medium heat. Sauces and stocks are also prepared very quickly in it, thanks to optimum heat distribution. Special: The inner support surface is about 6 to 8 cm smaller than the upper diameter of the pan. DESIGN & FEATURES The sauté pan not only conducts heat very well and offers good non-stick properties, it also heats up very quickly thanks to the 4 mm thick aluminium wall. The internal and external top coat consists of 5 layers of PTFE (without PFOA) and therefore ensures a high durability and an optimal turning behaviour. A lacquered riveted iron handle with beech wood is attached to the sauté pan. The curved, French style shape of the handle offers light & easy handling of the pan. The wood has been gently treated with beeswax for longer lasting durability.
