The Homematic IP Weather Sensor - basic is part of the Homematic IP Smart Home system and reliably and accurately measures outdoor temperature, humidity, wind speed, brightness, and sunshine duration. The display and evaluation of the weather data can be conveniently done through the free Homematic IP app. Additionally, the weather data can be used to trigger actions. For example, roller shutters can be raised in strong winds, or an awning can be automatically extended in sunny weather. Countless other scenarios are conceivable in conjunction with other Homematic IP components. Thanks to its independent battery power supply and proven, secure wireless technology, the weather sensor can be installed without the need for additional wiring.
