The DICKORON classic is the tried-and-true favorite that has been around for over 80 years and is part of the DICKORON family. The special sapphire coating allows for a velvety smooth honing, giving your knife a consistently sharp edge. A properly sharpened knife edge can be maintained sharp with the DICKORON without roughening the edge. Thanks to the round blade shape of the whetstone, it has a low weight and is comfortable to handle. The knife only makes contact at specific points on the whetstone blade.
