The Caminada Santoku is shaped in line with the typical Japanese Santoku knife design. However, the blade of the Caminada Santoku is ground thinner than that of standard European knives. Additionally, the blade of the Caminada Santoku is more curved, allowing for greater momentum. The Caminada Santoku is the result of a collaboration between Andreas Caminada and the Güde manufactory in Solingen.
