The ancestor of the Moomins is a mysterious character who moves only at night and does not speak at all. This small, furry ancestor resides behind the tiled stove in the living room of the Moominhouse and decorates the Moominhouse according to his own taste, such as turning paintings upside down. The Moomin bowl brings a smile to everyday table settings. Illustrator and graphic designer Tove Slotte has adapted the illustrations for Moomin products based on Tove Jansson's original illustrations and drawings.
