The COLORI+ paring knife from Kuhn Rikon features a stainless steel blade that is sharpened on both sides and crafted from Japanese steel, precisely shaped for its versatile range of uses.

The blade is heated in a furnace at over 1000 °C, which not only hardens the steel but also makes it flexible and corrosion-resistant. Afterward, the blade is polished and hand-sharpened on both sides. Each individual knife receives its final sharpening from a specialized blade sharpener, a highly skilled craftsman who has mastered the art of knife sharpening over many years.
