Melitta Original coffee filters are perforated with tiny, minuscule holes (aroma holes) that allow for optimal brewing speed of the coffee. All the aroma goes into the cup while the bitter substances remain in the collection container. Melitta Original coffee filters are made from Nordic paper pulp and contain no recycled fibers. The punched edges are machine-pressed, meaning no glue or other binding agents are used. For the benefit of the environment, the filters are both Swan and FSC-certified (Forest Stewardship Council).
