The filtering process of the Moccamaster Automatic coffee machine is automated and specially optimised for preparing a full pot. Simply add water and coffee powder, press the button and let the coffee maker do the rest. The automatic drip stop prevents coffee from dripping out of the filter funnel when you lift the glass jug off the coffee maker. The flavour lid mixes the brewed coffee beverage during the brewing process, ensuring a perfect result. The automatic switch-off ensures safety by interrupting the power supply after 40 minutes. The Moccamaster Automatic has two separate heating elements. One element brews the coffee at the optimum brewing temperature of 92-96 degrees Celsius. The other keeps the coffee at an optimum temperature of 80-85 degrees Celsius until it is ready to be consumed.
