The double shaft of the Janus bread knife ensures a clean cut, whether cutting soft bread or hard crusts. In addition, the shaft has been designed to cause fewer scratches on the cutting surface. The blade of the Janus bread knife has a DLC coating (Diamond-like-carbon). This makes the Janus bread knife scratch-resistant, acid-resistant and easier to maintain. The amazingly light knife handle is made of up to 5000 year old bog oak.
