Do the earlier Multiquick 7 parts (stand mixer, crusher, whisk etc.), fit on this motor block? Somehow the coupling for the appliances doesn't look exactly the same as the one on my defective Multiquick 7 motor block (type 4199).

No, because of the new ActiveBlade technology, the clutch was changed for this.

Hi, I'm looking for a hand blender that won't scratch the bottom of pans. Any tips/recommendations? The old models had a rubberised rim.... Thank you.

Hello Ur.sus, the MultiQuick 7 MQ7000X is probably not recommended for this project. It doesn't have a rubberised rim and the blade guard is made entirely of stainless steel. In other words, you will have the same effect as when you "drive around" in the pan with a stainless steel spade. There is a blender attachment for the Braun hand blender. Unfortunately, I haven't had any experience with it, but it seems to be made of plastic, which certainly serves the bottom of the pan better than metal.
