Yes, the blender containers are all made of strong glass. All the individual parts are really of excellent quality. However, you have to take into account the very small quantities of this machine, which are usually only a maximum of one minute or even shorter to knead, mix, etc. The motor power is not competitive with a usual food processor for this reason. For this reason, the motor power is not competitive with a conventional food processor. But for short use (kneading dough by hand afterwards) the machine is really great. Before buying, I recommend downloading the instruction manual. It shows very clearly how much and how long everything can be. So with 500 gr. of bread, nothing can be done, unless you divide it between 2x. But otherwise very good and practical.

Resting time between operating phases = Disconnect the appliance from the mains and let it cool down for 15 min.
According to our information, this blender is not specified for crushing ice.
