No certainty, but on my old Kenwood I just needed to buy a 15chf adaptor and it works perfectly.

I have a Kenwood KMMM770 bought on15 12.2016 had no adapter and because of the nieder touren therefore I bought the adapter costs 16.90 Fr.
If you need one for your Kenwood I would ask at Galaxus because not all types need an adapter.
