When the container is full (approx. 900 g = about 30 icicles, depending on the size), the machine stops production. Only in my case, it has not switched on at all and always reports that the container is full, even when it is empty. So it's a toy that can't be used.

As the finished ice is no longer cooled, it starts to melt, which is normal with this machine. The best result is obtained by putting the ice cubes back into the freezer to make it even firmer, colder and 'dry'.

I have owned the appliance for a few years now. Ice cubes that are not used melt again when the machine is turned off. The melted water drips back into the 'water tank'. To make ice with fresh water every day, you can drain off the 'old' water by means of a plug on the underside of the machine. I then immediately clean the empty water tank with a damp cloth.
