The refrigerant hose is 2 metres long and 2.7 cm high and cannot be disconnected. This length enables the connection between the indoor and outdoor units of the air conditioning system.
The amounts are likely to fluctuate on a daily basis. A price trend tool is available on the page of each article to give you a better idea of these fluctuations. You can find more information here: https://www.galaxus.ch/fr/guide/32
It's not inaudible, but I wouldn't consider it annoying. However, this is very subjective and depends on how far away the device is from you. The description states 62dB as a guide value.
Just check with the supplier who sells you your electricity:
In my case, this is the St. Galler Stadtwerke SGSW
with a basic price of 8.50 per month/meter
plus the price per kWh of 28 cents low tariff, 35 cents high tariff
with an average consumption of 200kWh (according to Midea) this would amount to about 65.- in electricity costs. ( without basic price of 8.50.-)
I hope I was able to help you...
The connecting hoses of the air conditioning system are not fitted with a quick-release coupling and cannot be disconnected. The coolant hose between the indoor and outdoor units is permanently connected and is part of a closed circuit that cannot be disconnected or extended.
We work with daily prices, which can be influenced by various factors such as purchasing conditions, stock levels and supply and demand. It is therefore difficult to compare us with the competition, especially abroad.
In this case, we will refer you to our Galaxus Assistant, which provides direct contact options so that the problem can be checked and you can be helped accordingly.

The product is offered by a third-party retailer via our platform, which is why we have no influence on their pricing. This may result in price differences compared to other suppliers.
At the time of writing, the goods are indeed not in stock, and the information provided on the article page is consistent with this. More than ten pieces have been ordered from the supplier.
Our prices may differ from other competitors or from the manufacturer. There may be various reasons for this, such as higher purchase prices for smaller quantities or additional import costs. We try to set a price in line with the market, but this is not always possible for us. https://www.galaxus.ch/de/wiki/6028
The seal is made with a fabric strip with zip and a self-adhesive tape (with Velcro) which is stuck directly onto the window frame.
The two parts are then joined together (Velcro fastener) and the cooling hose is threaded in.
The roll of adhesive tape and the fabric tape are very long. It should also be long enough for large door and window sashes.
I'm still trying to find out what the regulations are. There is always talk of "mobile system" and "split system". Mobile system= allowed, even in rented flat; split system= planning permission+ permission from owner. What about a mobile split system? This has a bit of both, is not fixed, does not require conversion, but there is a box hanging in front of the window that everyone can see. If it is not permanently installed, it (presumably) does not require a permit from the local authority (planning permission), but does it need permission from the landlord because of the box in front of the window?
I don't have to worry about noise emissions, the window faces the main road, which is already noisy anyway. The only problem is that the box in front of the window would be very visible from the street.
I paid for this product and was waiting for it to be delivered when it becomes available. And it did become available on the promised date. But what did Galaxus do? Instead of sending the available items to the customers who have already bought it and paid, you increased the price and sold it with an immediate delivery date during a heatwave (it became available for 2 days with immediate delivery and a much higher price) and cancelled my order. This is an opportunistic business model with no respect for your customers. Very dissapointing.
Salut etienne.
I was also amazed at how much the prices vary. It seems to me that the natural supply/demand situation increases for every day that is above 30 degrees.
It seems difficult to slow down scalpers. Whether this is expedient also remains questionable. In my opinion, there are two sides to scalping: On the one hand the sellers of overpriced products and on the other hand the customers who are willing to pay inflated prices.
Personally, I try to buy a little in advance: e.g. heating oil in summer, the convertible in winter.
As long as people don't think ahead, scalpers have their customers...
It is still recommended to use the included window sealing with this device to reduce outside air entering the room and increase cooling efficiency. The sealing is designed to fit tilt and turn windows and roof windows, attaching with Velcro strips for a good seal around the window sash and frame. This helps keep the gap minimal despite the connection hose, which is particularly flat (2.7 cm) compared to other AC units with thicker tubes. The window must remain open for the hose, but the sealing and included window lock prevent drafts and keep the installation secure without damaging the building. Thus, while the hose is thinner and less intrusive than in some other units, using the window sealing is still necessary and recommended for optimal performance and comfort.
