Hello. Question: Is it possible to hang the unit on a switched socket so that switching on and off can be controlled? The unit is intended for an office, so that in the morning the office of about 10sqm2 can be heated up. During the day it is used rather less (estimated: 3-4h per day in use) - is it designed for this? Thank you.

Yes, that should work. I have tried it: If you leave the buttons on "on", unplug it and plug it back in later, it starts heating again directly. In principle, it's the same as a timer socket. By the way, my Heizöfeli had a German Schuko plug, so I had to buy an adapter. (But maybe it's different now. But it still works perfectly and doesn't bother me much). If it is ensured that the heater cannot tip over during unobserved periods and that in the event of a fire, for example, there would be a sprinkler system (or someone would be on site quickly), then this is a good idea.

I sent the product in after 2 months of operation. It became a warranty case with repair of 5 weeks! The heaters are not intended for prolonged use, but break down quickly. Let's see how long the repaired one lasts. That's why they've raised the price so they can still cover the repair costs.

Good day Unfortunately, this unit comes with a German plug. Normally these plugs fit into Swiss sockets, but the pins are too thick on this one. Furthermore, I would like to connect a heater like this one with an earth connection. This is not mentioned in the product description. This heater does not have a timer as listed in the specifications. Do I have to buy a travel adapter 2000W 16A (poor availability) or do you have the product with a Swiss plug?
