Helpful answer

When cooking rice with the Rommelsbacher Multi Rice Cooker MRK 500, it is generally not recommended to add salt directly during the cooking process. Here's why: - Salt can seal the surface of the rice and prevent the spices and liquids from penetrating evenly. - It is better to add the salt after cooking and then season the rice to achieve better flavour development. It is therefore advisable to add the salt after the rice has been cooked and then season it.

The "Rommelsbacher MRK 500 Risa" appliance does not have a separate on/off switch. Instead, it is controlled via the LED display and the various programmes.

I'll make it simple: better use the rice cooker from Cuisinart! I replaced the Rommelsbacher directly with the CRC400E and don't want another one :)

Hello In sousvide yes in 1° step. In slow cook in 5° increments. It is already pre-programmed depending on the programme (temperature and time), but you can change it manually. LG
