No...the cooker switches off automatically. And an{ LED flashes. Depending on the filling quantity, it takes 1-3 minutes. It takes 3 minutes when completely full.

Made in China, it says on the bottom of the packaging but not on the appliance. I personally showed this to the Zwilling shop yesterday and was told. Unfortunately, the product management at Galaxus is not in a position to request comparable data from the manufacturers across product categories, although this could be the minimum standard if you want to sell a product via Galaxus. It is also possible that Galaxus does not want comparability. In any case, this behaviour is not customer-centred.

I bought this kettle in November 2021 and it came with a German adapter plug. Works perfectly so far. Now available at Galaxus under specifications: "May be equipped with a power adapter," so it seems to have a CH plug.

The electric kettle has an acoustic signal that sounds when the water has reached the desired temperature or when the tea is ready. However, the information available does not specify whether this sound signal can be deactivated. Similar models in the Zwilling Enfinigy range emit a beep, but no explicit mention of an option to switch it off is given in the sources consulted.

Inside, everything is made of sheet metal. Even the inside of the lid. Only the seal around it is made of rubber. We've been using the cooker for at least half a year or more and so far everything is running great. Occasionally it gets cleaned with citric acid, but that's it.

Unfortunately, this is something that the community has been observing more often lately. As soon as a product is out of stock, the sales price goes up. It's possible that someone else snatched up the kettle at the exact time you forgot something... It is now possible that Zwilling has increased the prices for further orders (shortage of raw materials, etc. -> insert any reason here). I wouldn't order the kettle for 50 CHF more. Maybe you can find the product in another shop?

Yes, the plug on my device is a clunky, grey DE plug, Galaxus supplied an adapter. However, I prefer to use an adapter plug. I find the kettle itself almost sensationally good: really stable base, stable handle (necessary because the kettle has weight when fully charged with water), no plastic parts with which the water comes into contact, no dripping when serving. Someone has really put some thought into this. Probably made in China, but it doesn't say so on the appliance or on the packaging, probably for a good reason.
