For practical use go like this
It's been a while since I bought it. The push button takes some getting used to. Push the slider upwards and hold it there. Only then can you activate the spray button. After each steam stop, it's the same all over again. A little awkward, but ultimately serves the purpose of safety. You don't have to press hard.
Unfortunately, the appliance often loses too much water at the beginning, which is at the expense of cleaning time. To be fair, large appliances also lose water at the beginning. Mostly condensation water before it escapes or the heating chamber is calcified. Descaler helps (but do not heat up), otherwise the limescale will get into the nozzles and block them.
I only use it when I want to steam clean small areas without stubborn spots. However, you shouldn't be surprised at the relatively short usage time. With 250 ml, you shouldn't expect a long cleaning time.
A hand-held appliance is also not efficient for larger surfaces or longer-lasting cleaning (e.g. stubborn areas). Unless you have time to cool down, refill and heat up. That's why I bought something bigger, where the water can be topped up while the machine is running.Pro
