The press makes a very solid impression, squeezing is quick and requires little effort. However, a lot of juice is lost in the process because the liquid not only runs out at the bottom, but is also squeezed out at the top. All in all, an expensive, not very efficient alternative to the classic citrus juicer. Only suitable for small fruit.
Pro
Contra
Handy and above all very effective citrus juicer. The juice is easy to squeeze out.
Disadvantage: The press also presses strongly on the peel. Depending on you also have "citrus oil" in the juice. With non-organic lemons creeps me there a bad feeling.
Relatively good press. My verdict after many trials with limes, lemons, tangerines:
- Limes: very good. However, you should repeat the pressing process a few times and realign the halves, because then more juice comes.
- Lemons: Relatively good. Due to the size of the lemons, the peel is distributed to the rim, so that the juice in the rim area is not optimally exploited.
- Mandarins: not recommended. The peel is too thin, when pressing it splashes in all directions if you are not careful, and the yield is not good.
In general, the problem is that at maximum stroke there is still "air", and so can not be squeezed to the last drop.
- Due to certain substances of citrus, the hinge begins to squeak.

Contra
Clearly better than conventional juicers
Pro
