Due to its extreme angles, the diamond-shaped champagne wine glass offers more space for the unfolding and development of a wide variety of flavours. In contrast to a flute, the larger goblet encourages the growth and intensification of the complex layers of champagne, while the wider rim allows them to be released, which is not possible with a narrow glass. The glass also has a "mousse point", which favours the formation of champagne bubbles. This glass is perfect for light, fresh, dry champagnes, sparkling wines, proseccos and sparkling wines. This product is made of clear crystal glass.RIEDEL Veloce is an impressive new development based on the latest technology from RIEDEL's own factory. The range utilises the latest manufacturing technologies to create glassware that feels handmade but offers the precision of machine production. With their lighter and finer profile, the glasses are ideal for New World wines and feature a base plate engraved with the recommended grape variety, making this a premium machine-made product. "PREMIUM" defines the advantage of a machine-blown RIEDEL glass over a handmade glass. The difference lies in the precision.
This set also includes a microfibre polishing cloth from Riedel. This is perfect for bringing the glasses to a high lustre without smudging! It can be used dry or moistened, cleans thoroughly and scratch-free, removes grease, polishes and dries your glasses without leaving lint or dust behind. The polishing cloth can be washed at up to 90 degrees without using softeners or bleaching agents.
