The food is simply and conveniently prepared in the dish, transported to the workplace and heated and eaten there in the microwave - all in one dish without the hassle of decanting. If tomatoes, peppers, curry or other foods cause unattractive discolouration, this can be easily removed: rub the microwave dish with a kitchen towel soaked in olive oil and then put the microwave dish in the dishwasher as usual.
