The desired temperature can be easily and conveniently set using a rotary knob. You can achieve economical use of the heating energy employed, particularly through a demand-oriented heating control. The integrated temperature reduction function ("night reduction") allows you, in conjunction with an external timer, to automatically lower the set heating temperature by 4 K without having to change the comfort temperature set on the thermostat. The integrated pulse-width modulation (which can be switched off via a jumper if needed) ensures a largely fluctuation-free maintenance of the set room temperature. To ensure that the valves remain functional even after prolonged periods of non-use, the room thermostat features a valve protection function (which can also be switched off if necessary, e.g., when using an electric heater). Here, the valves to be controlled are briefly opened via the actuators once a week, even if no heating energy is requested.
