Peer Gynt has been on the market since 1938. Due to its unique structure, the yarn is excellent for knitting sweaters. Peer Gynt is still as popular today as it was back then. In the autumn of 2022, we launched a thinner version of the exact same yarn with the same great properties. Garments made from Norwegian wool feel light and warm. With each wear, they become even softer. Norwegian wool is durable and resistant to pilling. It ensures that garments always look good and maintain their shape for a long time. Consider the environment: wool is breathable and rarely needs to be washed. Instead, we recommend airing out the garment well. Clothing made from Norwegian wool has a long lifespan. It retains its beauty even across generations. This means that Norwegian wool contributes to sustainable consumption. The same fiber is used for both Peer Gynt and Tynn Peer Gynt, produced in different thicknesses – Tynn Peer Gynt is 3-ply twisted, while Peer Gynt is 4-ply. For machine washing, we recommend washing all wool items separately on the wool wash program to treat them as gently as possible. Spin gently and dry the garment flat, preferably lying on a towel. Never wash hand-knitted items in a laundry bag, as this can create friction that may cause the item to felt.
