Product details

Tynn Silk Mohair is, as the name suggests, our thinnest Silk Mohair yarn. It is a soft and luxurious blend of the finest Mohair, wool, and silk. The yarn is thin and has a long yardage. With Tynn Silk Mohair, you can create lightweight, airy knitted pieces with a luxurious touch. When Tynn Silk Mohair is used as a supplementary yarn alongside other qualities, it gives the knitted piece a striking appearance while providing good stability. Mohair is the wool of the Angora goat. The hair of the Angora goat is long, silky smooth, and curly. To give the yarn durability and volume, it is blended with conventional wool. The silk adds strength and shine when the fibers are brushed. This results in a soft, lightweight, and airy yarn with a fluffy appearance. For machine washing, we recommend washing all wool pieces separately on the wool wash program to treat them as gently as possible. Spin gently and dry the garment flat, preferably lying on a towel. Never wash hand-knitted items in a laundry net or bag, as this can cause friction that may lead to felting.
