First, sear the meat in the cocotte (suitable for all types of stoves, including induction), add vegetables, and place everything in the oven; the rest will take care of itself.

As with all Staub cocottes, the interior is coated with matte black enamel, which allows for good heat distribution and, combined with the tightly fitting lid, saves energy while cooking. The lid features a special design that collects condensation and allows it to drip evenly over the food, as well as a silver knob for lifting the lid.

The oval shape allows you to prepare fish dishes perfectly. In the oval form, a whole fish can be placed in the cocotte, such as a trout with tomatoes and parsley. Or cook a whole duck or a whole chicken with truffle sauce.
