Even a one-degree reduction in temperature can lead to up to 6% lower heating costs. When placed by a window, the sensor cable for measuring the outdoor temperature can be easily routed outside. The applications for thermometers with sensor cables are diverse. The waterproof sensor allows for use in a car, refrigerator, or aquarium.
