Product details

The IR 2050 infrared heater heats according to the natural principle of the sun. In contrast to devices with heating wires, infrared rays do not heat the ambient air, but only the surfaces and people they hit. The illuminated objects (e.g. wall, floor, chair, table, etc.) absorb the heat and store it before gradually releasing it again. The objects thus serve as an additional energy and heat store, even when the device is switched off, which further increases the efficiency of the IR 2050 infrared radiant heater. The heat radiation creates a pleasant feeling of warm sunshine on the skin in summer. Everyone feels temperatures differently. Our individual perception of heat is influenced, for example, by the distance to the heat source. The shorter the distance to the radiant heater, the smaller the area illuminated - the greater the distance to the heater, the larger the area illuminated. The 2,000 watt IR 2050 infrared heater is recommended for outdoor areas of approx. 8 to 13 m². Please ensure that the area to be heated is protected from the wind, otherwise the heat effect may be neutralised by the air flow. Our calculation aid below will help you to determine the required heating output. Whether heavy rain or snow, clouds of dust or flying pollen: the robust IR 2050 infrared heater is ideally equipped for almost any use in roofed and unroofed outdoor areas. The design aluminium housing, constructed in accordance with protection class IP65, reliably protects the device technology from dust, dirt and splash water from all sides. This makes the IR 2050 ideal for year-round heating applications. Unpack, install, ready: The infrared heater is supplied with a mounting bracket, screws and wall plugs for immediate installation and use. Please note that the IR 2050 is not suitable for ceiling mounting.
