A good fruit mash is essential for producing juice, wort, or must. This fruit mill can be used for grinding berries, grapes, apples, pears, and potatoes or similarly soft fruits and vegetables. Hard fruits and vegetables such as sugar beets, carrots, or unripe or hard pome fruits are not suitable for processing with this mill.

Apples, pears, quinces, and related fruit varieties are particularly ideal for further processing. The relatively firm pulp is crushed by the fruit mill; the resulting mash increases juice yield or allows for pressing the fruits. Grapes, raspberries, currants, and similar fruits, as well as stone fruits, should not be ground, as this is usually unnecessary since the pulp is very soft and only surrounded by a skin. The seeds contained in the fruit release bitter substances when ground, which would darken the juice.

You will achieve good juice quality by processing only healthy and ripe fruits. Unripe, overripe, rotten, and split fruits should be discarded.

With this shredder for fruits or vegetables, the ground material achieves the right consistency. The robust cutting mechanism made of aluminum alloy is easily operated manually. The stainless steel feeding funnel is mounted on a base frame made of square steel tubing. The funnel has a capacity of 7 liters. The base frame is equipped with rubber feet for secure stability.

This manually operated fruit or vegetable shredder measures 57.5 x 48.5 x 25.5 cm. It is very easy to clean and prepares the fruits and vegetables for a high juice yield.
