An original and simultaneously refined plate with reactive effects. This manufacturing technique uses various glazes and metal oxides. After an initial low-temperature firing, the ceramicists apply metal oxides to the still porous clay. The Danish King Christian IV was a great supporter of Christmas and known for his lavish celebrations and elegant tables for the occasion. In this tradition, the famous porcelain manufacturer Royal Copenhagen developed an elegant service for the reflective Advent season, which quickly became a classic of the Royal Copenhagen house. The Star Fluted Christmas service was created based on old, traditional designs from the late 19th century. Traditional Christmas symbols wind around a green fir garland on the finest bone china. Bells, angels, hearts, drums, and other loving Advent motifs are tied together with a large bow made of red satin ribbon.
