Actually, I don't need the battery. Can I leave the Venti connected to the mains all the time? Will this damage the battery?

I would take the battery out when it is not in use, but not completely empty, but around 70%. I have an older Xiaomi Smart Mi Fan where the battery was inserted all the time and then after a few years it broke and could no longer be charged.
