Can Aronia berries also be squeezed or is the berry press better suited for this? Are both parts compatible for the Cooking Chef XL?

I have squeezed currants and apples with it and it worked well. I don't know if the part fits the ChefXL, I have an older model. That's why I bought an adapter. Ask the seller if it fits.
