I don't think so. The glass jug sits on the bottom of the hotplate and presses the valve on top. So the shape has to be exactly right and a thermos jug doesn't belong on a hotplate either ;)
I would simply transfer the finished coffee from the glass jug into the thermos jug, if desired :)
