Can the AC2889/10 version also be operated without an app, manually via the control panel? Without the prior set-up via app? PS: I am aware that the 2887/10 version is without an app. Thank you in advance.

Yes, the AC2889/10 also works without a previously set up app. The control panel is sufficient.
