If you fix the seal correctly, so that both zipper starts at the edge of the opening at the rear of the hinges, then yes. Only folding is no longer possible, as this cover tapers to the rear and where the zipper starts the distance needed for folding is not available.
As a tip, I would also seal the rear of the window where the hinges are with adhesive tape so that the slit does not blow the hot air back in.
It is not 100 % tight, but it is sufficient.
