Can you tell me if the appliance is time-controlled? I.e. if you are away, does the appliance switch on at a certain time and switch off at a certain time?

No, the unit cannot be programmed to switch on and off at set times.

We used it so rarely that we gave it away. From memory, only the cooking time was programmable, as there is no built-in clock. But to be sure, check the instructions: https://www.wmf.com/fr...
