Good day Is a CH plug adapter supplied in the meantime? What about the window kit? That doesn't seem to work. Do you have to buy one? If so, which one? Is this the case with all air conditioning units?

Hello, a CH plug should be included. But it wasn't in my case. Will be supplied free of charge according to support. Yes, the kit is not suitable for normal windows. I have ordered one from Sonnenkönig. This one is usable.
I can't say whether this is the case with other air conditioning units.
Kind regards
Alex

Hello

Digitec supplies a fixed adapter which permanently changes the plug to the CH plug.

The window kit is only intended for American windows.

I recommend making your own plexiglass seal and attaching it with magnets from supermagnete.ch. It's also very easy to remove. You can find instructions and inspiration here:

https://www.klimaanlagen-guru.de/klimaanlag...

I got Plexiglas from here, they also mill the right hole for the hose. The diameter of the Midea Silent Cool for the hole is 125mm:

Or, if you want to make the hole yourself, there's also something from Hornbach :)

I would advise against using the window feed-throughs with fabric zip fasteners for monoblock appliances. The negative pressure from the compressor always allows hot air to enter from outside.

And even better, if it's in the budget for next summer: why not go for a Midea Portasplit? I have one of these in use and no longer want a monobloc unit.
