Hello, try inserting the black plastic part that serves as a holder for the sieve really firmly into the machine until it 'clicks'. Then the machine should recognise it.

There is a recess in the adapter part of ours, which can also be seen in the illustration in the operating instructions. This means that the two contacts cannot be switched at all. This function is therefore not available or technically blocked.
