Hello. We have long pile carpets at home. My old Neato hoover can't navigate these carpets, and gets stuck very (too) often. Do these new hoovers detect this type of carpet and act accordingly? And what happens to the mop on these carpets? Thanks in advance for your answers.

Helpful answer

The mop is retracted on carpet. If it is too high, it cannot drive on it. However, you can set up a no-go zone so that it leaves this area out.

Hello

In principle, the robot recognises the carpets. If not, this can also be entered manually in the app. If the carpet is too high so that the robot gets stuck, a forbidden zone can be entered so that it at least no longer gets stuck there.

If it can drive onto the carpet, the mops are lifted or left in the base station (can be set in the app)

I don't think this is possible, depending on the carpet height
