Hello, via the app you will be notified when you should change the batteries, this is the case after approx. 1-1.5 years, depending on the battery quality.

It depends very much on how often the servomotor has to work. In my case, the batteries last a maximum of one year. However, the thermostats also work wonderfully with NiMH rechargeable batteries. I would highly recommend them.
