The machine is designed more for high sewing speeds and not specifically for very slow sewing. The minimum speed cannot normally be set as a true slow-sewing function using the foot pedal. According to the instruction manual, you can adjust the stitch length and sew slowly over edges with delicate fabrics, but the machine remains fast by design.
