I can't imagine how it works. Is it more comparable to the ejector grater or a blender/puree? Can you use it to make carrot salad or hash browns, for example?

Helpful answer
I still make hash browns "old school" with a hand grater. But I grate the rest with these Kennwood accessories: carrot salad, cucumbers, beetroot etc. You can't mix or puree with it. For that you need the blender jar, which is another accessory.
