I have received 2 Xiaomi but can not connect them to wifi Messages Successfully connected Message sent to device Connect device to network Connection error !!! Are country settings important in the app is now set to Switzerland ?

I have solved the problem, you simply have to change the setting of the router (UPC Connect Box) from WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK to WPA2-PSK, then the connection with the 3H works.

I have the exact same problem too, cannot connect to wifi. I have made sure that the network is 2.4 GhZ and uses WPA/WPA2 and still can't connect.I also tried setting the country to China but then the device is not even detected.

I have exactly the same problem.
Unpacked the device today and put it into operation.
Connection with WLAN does not work.
