Is this unit also suitable for outdoor operation (standing outside and pumping cold air into the flat)?

Helpful answer
The unit must be placed in the room it is to cool, as the cold air flows out through a wide and pivoting flap on the top of the unit and cannot be "directed" by means of a hose. Only hot exhaust air at the rear of the unit can (and should) be directed out of the room to be cooled by means of the supplied hose.
