The appliance has been installed and in operation since midday. The humidity is around 75%, I have selected 50% in the dehumidification setting. The appliance has not a drop of water in the tank after 10 hours. In between, the appliance beeps, indicates that the tank is full, switches off briefly and starts again. Is it broken?

I took the tank out a few more times and put it back in. And suddenly the appliance was running quietly and constantly and dehumidified within a very short time, the tank was full. I am totally satisfied!

Hello, something is wrong. I have had the device for years and it works well. However, the ambient temperature must be high enough. If it is too cold, it will not dehumidify. But this is due to physical reasons. The appliance indicates this with Defrost and beeps.
