We primarily want an air washer. Humidity is less of a problem. Can the Philips Hu5930/10 also clean the air without oversaturating it?

Helpful answer
To purify the air, you don't actually need an air washer, but an air filter. This unit is a combination of humidifier and filter. When there is no water in the tank, the unit acts only as an air filter and the rotary wheel for the humidifying element stops turning. To date, I have not used the humidification function and am thrilled with the filter function.
