The hydrophobic treatment covers the outer layer of the fabric, protecting it from water absorption. The coating causes moisture to condense on the surface of the fabric or knit and then drain away freely. All seams are welded, meaning each seam is sealed with a special safety tape that prevents water from penetrating the seams.
