Its almost round shape allows the bait fish enough movement to swim naturally. The round shape of the Cat Hooker also positively affects its hooking properties. The wire thickness is chosen so that the Cat Hooker is incredibly strong yet discreet. The welded eye also allows for the use of monofilament leader material. Thus, the Cat Hooker is universally applicable.
